Mandatory Days to Fly the National Flag of Malaysia
|

(according to the directives of the Prime Minister's office)
|
|
|
|
For government offices, statutory bodies, local government authorities, government agencies, schools, and public hospitals, the following days are mandatory to fly the national flag:
|
|
- National Day
- Malaysia Day
- Days when His Majesty Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di Pertuan Agong visits
- Official birthday of His Majesty Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di Pertuan Agong

|
For factories, office buildings, shopping complexes, shops, clinics, hotels, and public places of entertainment, the national flag should be flown on:
|
|
- National Day
- Malaysia Day. It is also encouraged to fly the national flag on ordinary days.
|
|
|
|
|
For apartments and other places of residence:
|
|
- It is not compulsory, but allowed to fly the national flag at any time, as long as the honour of the flag is maintained.
